Do You Hear What I Hear?
Originally written as a war protest song and now associated with the holiday season, this arrangement for Woodwind Nonet sets the piece in a Brazilian-adjacent feel, with the clarinets establishing the groove and a solo voice establishing the melody. With rhythmic interplay and melodic layering reminiscent of Hermeto Pasqual, this unique arrangement retains a sense of play right to the last note.
